Optimistic Media LLC is a small independent studio making apps, books, podcasts, and television — every one of them built through the same stubborn lens: that things can get better, and usually do.

The story

We started with a hunch: the internet doesn't need more noise — it needs more light. Not the saccharine kind. The practical kind: a journal that starts your morning kinder, a trivia night that gets three generations laughing at the same table, a dating app that breaks the ice with an ice cream flavor instead of a pickup line.

So we built them. Dear Optimist came first — daily affirmations and journaling. Then Ice Cream Social and GenEraZions, because connection and play are optimism in motion. The podcasts followed, from our mics to your speakers. Then the books and prints in the shop.

And now OPTtv — our free streaming channel at tv.optimisticmedia.net — bringing bright films, shorts, and originals to the biggest screen in the house, with every title's license and credits honored right on the page.

We're a distributed crew across Colorado, New York, and Texas, and we ship things when they make somebody's day measurably better. That's the whole business plan.
